Re: Reviving K2000 software development

Deja vu !!! Yenn.   I have a K2vx I bought in 2001. And stop useing it with in a year, I used it as a Controler for Garage Band and it's soft synths. But Now that I'm retired Im taking time to dig in to the Kurz Deeper. I am finding the power in it. I have inserted a Gotek  So I can xfer files on a flash drive and load them  as for samples I xfer them to the HD then reload them  and they stay after power down. I have just received New EPRom. and I have a data slider not working right I going to fix.   I did have the OS update I received from YC back in 2001. But I think ther web site has it for down load.  I found a month back the service Manual on PDF. There is an Old Java from 2006 I am trying to revive Called VAST Programer. The web site is Archived onWay Back Machine But there is No support for it.  "So it is Do it Yourself" I had it working on MY PPC mac mini but The Core Midi (SPI) gave out on Me.  There is Suport out there for the K2000, You have to search for it. So don't give up.
