K2000 Clunk Sound (upon key-up)

This quirk does not affect the K2K's output, but I'd like to deal with it, if I can do so, reasonably.

I found this in another thread ("White Key Clacking..."):
> ... the felt dries out in the key bed. A bit of petroleum jelly on the felt and you’re good...

But, what if my felt is too far gone? 
What if I just acclimated to the clunkiness to the point where it needs to be replaced, instead? 
Any specifics I might look into (for some compatible felt)? 
Surely there's no such thing as a felt shoppe, is there?
