 If you have a stripped nylon lock nut that still fits the hole and you're looking for a quick fix, you can burr the inside of the nylon threads with a small knife, coat the threads of the M5/M6 machine screw with some paste/candle wax or other nonstick medium like PAM cooking spray, then put a small dab of Gorilla Glue on both the tip of the screw and the nylon lock nut (use a toothpick to coat the inside) and screw it back in. The Gorilla Glue will harden and expand slightly around the screw, into the remaining threads and burrs you created in the nylon nut as well as the screw and the wax/spray will allow you to back the screw out with a slight bit of initial "break over". 

 

 Other good mediums for this little operation are epoxy and JB Weld, but for a temporary fix Gorilla Glue is a somewhat cheap and effective fix.
