I The neat thing about SCSI is that it abstracts away all that stuff and just slings blocks of data. So if your disk is configured to be pretty much any standard SCSI block device (disks and CDROMs are a little different, which is why CDROMs can be a bit funny) you can write to it with whatever you want. I use an external Zip drive to copy stuff from my PC running Linux (and occasionally Haiku) to an external SCSI Zip drive on the K2000. It works pretty well.
