how i would generically connect. I use a mac / k2500 and motu products ... connect k2500 via midi to xr18 connect audio out puts of k2500 to inputs of xr18 ( either stereo or using mix and b c d ) connect xr18 to external speakers or monitor thru headphones or cpu audio connect xr18 via usb to computer with reaper Reaper should recognize xr18 as ( audio input/ output) Reaper should see k2500 as midi instrument. Arm midi channel(s) in reaper to record midi Arm audio channels in reaper to record audio Record into reaper as just midi, or midi and audio.
