Yes, I get an audio signal from the k2500.  I record the k2500 all the time=

Hi, Jon here .. I posted my generic setup previously. Thinking out loud abo=
ut resolution:

I use a midi interface in my rig ... a motu usb express to be specific, whi=
ch is how the midi from my DAW ( digital performer on a mac)  recognizes my=
 K2500.

from what you have described ... 'generically' ..  the midi interface in yo=
ur rig is missing.

but, since the xr18 is apparently also a mini midi interface ... I would ch=
eck if midi in and midi out cable need to be connected in order for Reaper =
to see the K2500?

When you have the audio from the k2500 connected to the XR18 ( ignore midi =
for the moment) and you arm an audio track that the k2500 is plugged into  =
 ... is there an audio signal present ..... I E can you record or hear the =
K2500 audio?
