Thanks for your input, and I apologise for the errors and misconceptions in my understanding of the FTP system.. The FTP promotion could arguably have had more explanation and better description, including the new -to be released add-on 'floorpedal?', and the only material I was able to find which was of any use, was a demo at NAAM or somewhere (amid all the endless noise). I remember contacting Fishman when the triple play was about to be released (post-trade fair) with a view to getting one, and their publicity efforts were worse than terrible. The FTP may be interesting for the future, as I'm making a Zen Tapper -type 11-string with midi, active EMG's and piezo strat saddles (only for acoustic) and two active pre-amps. ve got all of the materials and the parts (it's with stainless steel rods instead of frets on a fingerboard) and I just need to find the time.. At the moment I'm thinking of using my Axon and Roland synth converters with 2 x GK3's , but that might change, and FTP would certainly be less cable-intensive if it responds well to tapping styles to determine pitch.
