Forgot to mention – the 24 pin drives a GR300 and the 13 his softsynths. Haven’t got an answer about an interface, but it could be a GR55? Does Wayne make a box which has a 24 pin in and both a 24 pin and a 13 pin out? Mind, the cost of the extra 24 pin cable would be almost as much as the cost of one of his boxes - Luckily I have two 24 pin cables J I managed to track down a 1 in/3 out SGUS-3 13 pin splitting box a couple of years ago but I haven’t even thought of combining that with a GR300 … till now. He claims his 13 pin split is ‘primitive’ and in addition to softsynths he uses an ipad synth app … which you can see attached to the G707. Primitive may be a translation thing … simple? I’ve sent a note to Wayne to see what he thinks. Still, I like what he’s done! Seems the guitarist (Toshihide ”104” Okamoto) is running a couple of GR-300’s and 13 pin gear simultaneously. His heavily modded G-707 has an extra hex pickup jammed in next to the 24 pin original to run both systems! Clearly he didn’t know of Wayne Jones’ BX-13 boxes. Still, with a pair of Roland JC-120 amps, his rig is a great tribute to all of that classic 80’s Japanese music tech. Leigh -- Leigh M.
