No threads. It's the push-in type. There's a 6mm and a 5.5mm available. I'm pretty sure I'm measuring mine at 5.5mm dia, though I don't have a precision caliper, so it's difficult to be exact. See - http://www.guitarpartsresource.com/guitar_frtrems.htm I think its #*BP-2318-003. "*Gotoh black finish 5.5mm push-in tremolo arm for Gotoh Licensed Tremolos. $9.99" There's a picture there too.
