I have one of them, (YRG) never use it. It is a cheap plastic toy. Perhaps
some of the upgrades make it better, but I didn't want to throw anymore

If you'd be interested in trying the el cheapo route a YRG [You Rock 
Guitar] controller will drive the synth [with zero latency]. Amazing 
what you can get out of a cheap plastic toy...
