Quite frankly it's so much faster than the Roland stuff that it is
ridiculous. There is a demo that you can download and check yourself.
The guitar plugs directly into whatever audio interface you use on your
PC. Download the demo and check it out for free.

I can't tell you how happy I was to lose that midi hex pickup and plug
into the guitar's output and get much better, faster midi. It's mind
blowing.
