It is nice to have everything correct, but I wonder if, in this context,
it matters. British and American English are close enough!

Differences in British and American Slang can raise embarrassing
moments, but either version of standard English should be fine for
native speakers of either.

There are a few traps like "momentarily", but not many. Crisps, chips or
French Fries anyone?
