Now that LMS 8.3 has been released, there are two changes I'd like to add to the slimserver code base to support strawberry perl for windows in addition to the current activestate perl. One removes the use of hard coded paths to perl.exe and the other deals with strawberry perl's use of POSIX error codes for sysread whereas activestate perl 5.14 returns WSA error codes. I will create pull requests to 8.4 for these shortly. The remainder of the changes are to slimserver-platform and slimserver-vendor to create the contents of Bin/MSWin32-x64-multi-thread and CPAN/arch/5.32/MSWin32-x64-multi-thread. Next steps are to refactor my win64 forks of these repositories to 8.4 and get the changes committed to the official repositories so they are not lost.
