Resurrecting this as I have another example of a FLAC-in-OGG with
metadata stream that causes problems.

Soul City
https://www.soulcityfm.com/

FLAC stream: http://euk-85965.eukservers.com:8000/soul

At the moment their web-based metadata is not working (I was going to
use it to generate Now Playing info via RNP) - but they do have metadata
in the stream.

Squeezelite or LMS as a proxy do not like the stream. They play until
the metadata change and then stop.

ffplay (ffmpeg) also sometimes has problems with it.

There are a small but slowly growing set of stations that are streaming
flac so I think it would be useful to solve this.

A quick fix ... have a way to tell LMS not to set the "Icy-MetaData: 1"
header so that a conforming streaming server

For example - if you use "-icy 0" with ffplay it does not set the
"Icy-Metadata" header and the stream plays in ffplay reliably (at least
I managed 4 songs in a row without issue compared to only 1 or 2 without
setting it).

Maybe we could have a special streamurl parameter that LMS recognises
and strips could be enough since it would allow people to add their own
URL as a favourite (ISTR something similar in MySqueezebox for
international stuff). However, that would not help for stream URLs that
come from elsewhere.
Another way would be to never set it is the stream is FLAC ... but does
LMS know that it is flac at the point where it would need to be not set?
Perhaps it could do it on retries of a failed flac stream.

Even better, of course, would be to handle the presence of the data and
even better would be to interpret it.
