Just tried again from command line with ffplay ... with and without
requesting Icy-metadata ... and it works fine now.

ffmpeg (without icy-metadata header)

ffplay -user_agent "iTunes/4.7.1 (Linux; N; piCore; armv7l-linux; EN;
utf8) SqueezeCenter, Squeezebox Server, Logitech Media
Server/8.3.0/1662405429" -v debug -hide_banner -icy 0
"http://euk-85965.eukservers.com:8000/soul"

seems to work - and shows pairs of
"skipping flac header packet" and "skipping vorbis comment"
at song changes

When doing same without -icy 0 (so header is set) it shows same thing!
So - unlike on my previous test ... ffplay appears to be happy.

(LMS still not though)
