The files are on a hard drive (standard internal 3.5") in a dock by the
Pi. I can remove it from that dock and use the dock beside my desktop,
sure. But it would have been easier to do it across the network
overnight. It's odd that I can do such things across the network using
the standard dBp convert process, but not batch convert. This is a
question for the dBp forum, I guess.

I don't really want to keep my two copies of the library totally
synched, at this point. There are some things that are in fact different
between the locations, and I don't want to risk losing anything. And
there are reasonable reasons for this situation, which means sync may
never be appropriate.
