Thinking on this some more, I think you can do what you want using Library Views. The Library Views feature lets you create virtual libraries that are subsets of your main library. There are several discussions of how to create a library view in these forums. One of them begins with this post: https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?111797-separate-libraries&p=967386&viewfull=1#post967386 You would need to add the mp3/ folder to your library (remember, you can define more than one folder for the library), and you do want it to be scanned. After a rescan, do an Advanced Search for the path to the music/ folder. Save the results of the advanced search as a library view. You might call it "Albums". Then use that new library view. (This is something else that needs to selected from the Advanced Browse Modes menu in settings for each player.) As long as you use the Albums library view, you shouldn't see any of the individual mp3 files when browsing the library. But if those tracks are listed in playlists in your playlists folder, i THINK you should be able to play those playlists, even if the tracks are not in the current library view. I'm not certain about that. I tried a simple test and it seemed to work, but I can't guarantee it, so you'll have to do some testing, too. Good luck! Usually running latest beta LMS nightly on Raspberry Pi OS with virtual players (Squeezelite and Airplay bridge). Occasionally using SB Radio, Boom or Classic. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ RobbH's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=67008 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116732
