Strange behaviour of volume on synced players

After LMS on the QNAP showed more and more issues and the QNAP finally
stopped working completely, I have now set up LMS via PiCore on a
Raspi4.
So far everything is working fine but the volume on synced players shows
some strange behaviour:

The volume of my Sqeezebox Booms and my Radio sometimes jumps to 100%,
which sucks, especially when using the alarm in the mornings.
What I noticed: especially when several synchronized players are running
and I switch off one of them, the one that is still running jumps to
100%.

Total setup:
2x touch (volume fixed at 100)
1x radio (variable volume)
2x boom (variable volume)

All synced (volume control not synced and switch on/off separately
too).

Spotty
Music- and Artist Information
Material Skin

Any ideas?
