I realize you guys may be frustrated with me not following suggestions like the flash drive and posting server logs. Sorry I just want to be able to play my ALAC library without problems. I can report that upon moving my library to a laptop with large HDD then loading latest version of LMS, I experienced the same ~30sec issues with the exact same tracks the Pi with latest software was giving me. Since I really did want to go back to having my library managed by iTunes, I decided to try loading a previous version of LMS on the laptop to see if it makes any difference. Viola!!! No stopping/skipping 😁 The Pi will be relegated to a player for another room and Im going back to laptop server via iTunes management. While I havent checked all the diagnostic boxes for sure, it does appear that new versions of LMS and PiCorePlayer have issues with certain ALAC files.
