HiFiBerry DIGI2 Pro works just fine, even on my old RPi2.

Warning: if you're interested in doing some processing (eg. parametric
EQ for room correction), don't get their DSP add-on board. Its filtering
algorithms create a weird low level rumbling. (I suppose they might have
fixed it since my bad experience). I do DRC by running through SOX on
LMS, which works well and requires no hardware purchase.

Until recently: Transporter -> ATC SCM100A, now sold :-(
House move forced change to: piCorePlayer(RPi2/HiFiBerry DIGI2 Pro) ->
Meridian 218 -> Meridian M6
