Would an SB3 work with LMS 8.3.0 (Latest LMS)?

Hello, was looking to possibly purchase a second hand SB3/Squeezebox Classic. Would it work against LMS Server 8.3.0? Also does anyone know if the wireless is stable on latest routers?
