@ronnie, my biggest issue is not DAC standby. What really pisses me off
is what I posted in my last message:

Squeezelite is either off or on
If it has the -z flag it is always on (in the background)
If it has the -C flag then it will drop the connection after the
specified time.
When I have this setting in raspberry PI OS and I run the squeezelite
status it still shows as running
This is taken at 10 56am. with Squeezelite paused and the dac in
standby.

It's the new build from this morning, using Gerrelt's scripts and
squeezelite is daemonised, but even without -z I'm certain I have seen
it show as running
I think the -C option no longer seems to work, as I can run librespot
and squeezelite through the same output without -C being set, and I sure
that was not always the case
