Greetings, I am currently running my SliMP3 under Windows XP using the code that was zipped up and posted here by Richard Smith a few days ago. The web interface is godly and the player seems more stable, however one big problem exists. It's kind of hard to explain so I'll step through it... I have two 40 gig drives (D: and E:). They are mounted virtually to the point "C:\MP3" as "\Vol 1" and "\Vol 2" respectively (Windows calls these mounts Junctions but they browse like Directories, it's the same system in Win2K as well). Using the v1.01 code from the slimdevices.com page everything is fine. I can, using the Slim, browse through my two mounted drives (they are at the Top Level) and play tracks fine. The only problem is that v1.01 is unstable and crashes a lot. I just put on what I believe is v1.19 and get mixed results: -I can still browse exactly as I did before with the player -I can NOT listen to tracks anymore. Nothing crashed, but when I press play nothing happens. -The web interface does NOT display any file list at all. If I setup the server to use D: or E: as the MP3 location directly, everything is fine! I can hear the tracks and use the highly cool web interface. The only problem - now I can only play half my tracks! I know this was long winded and confusing but I have no perl coding skills myself and all I know is, it used to work. I don't want to sacrifice half my MP3s for a better server, but I also don't want to have twice the MP3s on a buggy old server. Can anyone help me out and get the server to see my mounts/junctions?
