Sounds good.  We should work out some scheme to ensure any new patches
are against the current code only.  We can treat the CVS tree as the
"slimp3-current" or "-unstable" branch, and the code available on the
slimdevices.com website as the "-release" or "-stable" branch.

We can then ask that anyone submitting patches do so only against the
-current tree.

I think the rash of multi-version patches is really more an issue of
confusion at this point than anything else.  As such, it's manageable
through communication.
