It's in the firmware - the player goes to sleep when it hasn't heard from the server or received an IR code for 15 seconds. It's done this way to ensure that the player still shuts off if the server/network is down. If you were to turn off your computer, you wouldn't want the player to continually display the "service unrechable" message. It's easy to override in the server - we just need to send a packet to the player once in a while, and it'll stay awake for as long as we want. I need to do some more work on timers.pm. It hasn't been used much yet, and I know there are some bugs. Alarm clock mode won't be in 1.6. Sean ------------------------ Yahoo!
