My understanding of Dan's code is that only the first item is read (i.e, only File1 is read) if the entry is a URL. This also makes practical sense, as streams typically don't have a defined end, so having more than one in the list is counterproductive (unless we're looking to have functionality similar to the .m3u support, where the playlist containing multiple streams would be treated as a browseable directory) I don't know the format for multi-item playlist files (I'm not including .m3u here because I assume the format is standard and works properly here as well). Dan would be the best person to answer that question as he added the support, but a quick check of the groups webpage doesn't show him as a member of this list yet. I'm cc:ing him on this. One feature that I'd like to see in your web code at some point (I don't know that I'll be able to get to this) would be an easy way to build playlists...e.g., a quick form where one could cut and paste a URL, possibly denoting what type of stream it is for appropriate massaging (e.g., live365 station URLs need a quick s/stations/play in the URL before being added to a .pls file). -- Mark C.
