I’ve decided on the timeline and feature set for
future versions of the software.

V1.7 June 8, 2002

PCM to MP3 encoding (Done)

Basic HTTP support

V1.8 June 30, 2002

Windows Media Trans-coding, will now support many streaming
types along with many file types.

Plug-in Support (ActiveX), anyone can add features easily

Full HTTP support (Hopefully full support for the non-Perl
embedded pages also)

Player syncing

V1.9 July 20, 2002

Speech generation (Working now but very buggy)

Initial Plug-ins

- X-10 control (CM17a controller) (Workiing now in a beta
version, used in my home)

- Caller ID Modem support with speech output

- Napco alarm integration (Very beta version working now)

- Email reading

V2.0 August 1, 2002

MP3 re-encoding support and mixing

Enhanced browsing of database

Product rename and move to open source

Any feedback would be appreciated. I will try my hardest to
make the dates above that I have posted.
