Hi,

Thanks for the kind words about the SliMP3

Now, about your troubles with the shoutcast streams. This
is a known problem. That URL actually points to a playlist that
contains 14 URLs for streaming sources. I guess that shoutcast
does this so that they have a failover in case one of their servers
fails.

A workaround is to download the .pls file at that URL and put
that in your playlists folder. Then you can play it
directly.

I'll make sure that this gets fixed so we can load up the
playlist indirectly in the future.

First of all let me say that I'm very
pleased with the my slimp3. The

audiotron that it replaced had severe problems playing back high
bit

rate encoded files and is now gathering dust in the closet.

I do have one question though. For some
reason I cant get some

shoutcast streams to work. Could it be that the streaming server
only

supports winamp?

If anyone can provide a .m3u file for the following shoutcast
stream,

I'd be very grateful.

Stream ->

http://www.shoutcast.com/sbin/shoutcast-playlist.pls?rn=1890&file=filename.pls

Thanks
