Not likely.  Slim Devices has said here many times before that they
won't talk about future hardware plans.  I have a few guesses, but it
would be pointless to talk about them here.

Why bother with all-digital, when you're dealing with the reduced
fidelity of MP3 anyway?  If you really care that much about sound
quality, you shouldn't be using MP3 in the first place.


Now if you could play non-lossy formats, all-digital might make
sense.... and if I were going to speculate, I might guess that some
future hardware design might take that into account....

Anyway, I would expect buying a SLIMP3 now might make a future
hardware revision be more likely to appear sooner.
