one thing i would like to see added/corrected without too much delay
is the ability to just show the song name.

as it is now for ie. status.html, afaik the only available variable for
the songname is songtitle, but that one is built from the title format
server setting... which is different depending on what you've selected.
and it get's really whacko when the title format selected is like:
TITLE (ARTIST - ALBUM) and then, in the webui, with ie. the Moser-skin,
where the song-status then looks like:
Stopped on 3 / 3: Don't break my heart (Blacknuss - 3) from 3 by
Blacknuss
or if the ALBUM tag is not even there:
Stopped on 2 / 3: American woman (Lenny Kravitz by Lenny Kravitz
note the missing trailing paratheses...
it's same same for the Standard skin...

i think you either use the user configured song title, or an hardcoded
one, not mix them...

just my ten cents...
