Under MacOS X you'd need to install the developer tools first, to get a =
=20
copy of CVS.  You can get them here:

http://developer.apple.com/tools/macosxtools.html

Then you'd open up a Terminal window and execute the following commands:

   cvs -d:pserver:[email protected]:/cvsroot/slimp3 login
=A0
   cvs -z3 -d:pserver:[email protected]:/cvsroot/slimp3 co=20=20
slimp3

(If it asks for a password, just hit return.) This will create a folder =
=20
named slimp3 in your Home.  All of the source will be there.

Type:

   cd slimp3/server

to move to the server directory and then type:

   perl -w slimp3.pl

To start up the SLIMP3 server in the background.

The skins will be in the html folder residing in the server folder=20=20
inside the slimp3 folder.

After you make your changes, you can type:

   cvs diff -upB > mychanges.diff

to create a file called mychanges.diff.  This would be the file you'd=20=20
send when you'd like to submit some changes, along with any new files=20=20
you want to add.
