I'm going to be helping integrate some SliMP3 systems for a friend 
who's having a Crestron system installed.   I'm really glad to hear 
that you are interested in this too.

We don't have a remote command for getting the current screen text, 
but I'll add one for you shortly.   You can already send commands to 
the SliMP3 via HTTP over TCP/IP, check out the HTTP documentation 
that comes with the software.   Rather than using the IR, this might 
be a good solution.

Feel free to e-mail me directly so we can get this going offline asap.
