That FAQ needs to be updated. You can browse and play your music as
it's organized on your disk, but with the 2.0 version you can browse
by Genre, Artist and Album too.

Then you should be all set. With the 2.0 version of the server, you
can browse and play by Genre as set in the ID3 tags.

Random (aka Shuffle) play of songs works like this:

1. Choose some songs to add to your current playlist by browsing and
pressing PLAY or RECORD. The PLAY button clears the playlist and
puts the current selection on the playlist. The RECORD button adds
songs to the end of the playlist. (For example, browse into "Genres"
and select "Rock". Pressing PLAY at this point puts every Rock song
in the playlist. Select "Jazz" and press RECORD to add all the Jazz
songs to the playlist too.)

2. Then press the the OK button on your remote to shuffle them in a
random order.

3. Press the OK button again to unshuffle them.

Hope this helps...
