On-board sound cards are generally crap.  I won't claim that the SliMP3's
DAC is equivalent to a $1000 professional DAC. It's a high quality 16 bit,
44.1KHz DAC, like you'd find in a good CD player. It sounds great.

New cases will be available in 1-2 weeks, if you'd like to wait. Otherwise
we'll be selling them as a DIY upgrade for $20.

I'm not sure about that remote, specifically, but I would say in all
likelihood, yes. It just needs to be able to handle a JVC brand DVD player
and you're good.

Yes, a lot of people are doing this. I don't know the details of how to
set this up, but it's something we'll be supporting in the future.

The 2.0 release is wicked stable. Right now we're squashing a few of the
obscure bugs, but all in all, this one is very stable and complete.
