Hi, all - Sean, are you planning on making any other "Slim-" devices? Here are a few ideas I have: "SliMP3-2-part" - this would be an Ethernet MP3 player, like the SliMP3, but the display and remote receiver would be in a separate unit from the Ethernet and audio ports. They would be connected by a short-range RF (not 802.11 or Bluetooth, just character-at-a-time) to relay display and IR information. This would be good for people who's speakers aren't in the same room as their equipment - think "media room". It would be annoying to have to go to another room to change what song you're playing, or to run a long cable from your SliMP3 to your stereo. "SlimData" - a unit that would relay data from external sensors (temperature, motion, etc) to a server program. Similar to a SliMP3, but with a bunch of ADCs instead of audio circuitry. Do these sound good? Any other ideas? Sean, I know you probably have your hands full enough with the SliMP3 alone, but... - Jacob -- "Terminak #3 has bad keyboard. Pkease fix." ------------------------ Yahoo!
