Ok, thanks.

It seems (from looking at the code) that there's a problem with the 
Time library on Windows 2000 server.   I'm cc'ing this on the 
developer list to see if we can find somebody who can help debug this 
problem.  (I don't have a Win2k Server running here.)

My guess is that the Time::HiRes  time() function is returning some 
strange values on this machine.  Can anybody who has this platform do 
a little debugging?
