Hi, The time/date should display after you've powered the SliMP3 off, and there will be nothing playing. If the unit is powered on and you are playing something, the current track should be displayed about 10 seconds after the last time you used the remote. I think that this isn't the behavior you are seeing. Can you give a little more detail? -dean I just received my player, super quick ship by the way. I have one question. My display very quickly switches from the time date to the currently playing track. Is this normal?
