I believe I am running the 1.1 firmware (I got my player in late December, 
it supports DHCP), and I am using version 1.8 of the server.

The same thing happens when I open a 300+ entry directory on local disk. (I 
just tried it).  The first time, anyway.

It takes about 5 seconds for the directory to show up in the web 
page.  After the first time, the player seemed to resume playing after the 
pause for directory parsing.
