I'm not using XP's firewall but I am hosting on XP. With the current
software after some time of using the web interface it stops
responding. No web interface at all. I need to VNC in and restart the
server to gain web access. Unfortunately it's not possible to gain
control over the Slimp3. It says 'No Slimp3 found' or something on the
right in place of the status and playlist etc. I need to press play on
the remote to get it 'found' so that I can begin controlling it again.

This is not ideal. I can't see anything in my system which would cause
this to happen. I wonder if the slimp3 should at least attempt to
connect to the server so it can be controlled. Periodically in case
the server has been restarted (such as a reboot or a restart to fix
the broken/seized web interface etc). Would that be a slimp3 firmware
update to do this?

Regards,

Mat.
