Sorry to interrupt...FYI, I had the same problem with my SliMP3. I
think it is a server issue, not the SliMP3. I was able to Ping and
the SliMP3 displayed that it received the ping, but I could not get
it to "see" the SliMP3 server. The browser version didn't work
either. I tried all kinds of things (including the 1.01 version of
the server software) with no luck, but it finally starting seeing the
server (using the 1.7 version). Unfortunately I cannot pinpoint what
fixed it. It might have been the .ini file location, when setting up
and starting the server, it did show an error in the code (I don't
have the exact information in front of me at this time) where I think
it tries to recongnize the operating system to get the directory for
the .ini file. I am running Windows XP and thought I might have a
compatibility issue. I moved the .ini file to the Windows directory
and started the server again, and viola, it finally started working.
