First of all I just joined the group... so hey everyone!
I installed SliMP3 yesterday and can't believe how cool this app is.
Amazing in fact!! I can't wait to stream my music to myself at work via
my home set-up thanks to dyndns...when the rumored digital-out version
of the hardware comes out, it should make a nice addition to my home
stereo.
anyway, I could use some help with iTunes integration...please
Right now, I queue via the browser and play a stream file in iTunes,
which totally works but is not exactly how I was hoping this would
work. My stream is http://myserver/stream.mp3 and shows up in itunes
playing as "slimp3" not the track, that is playing. How do I get that
to happen? I know all my ID3 tag info is there...
I am playing via powerbook, the music is connected to an iMac. My wife
is the primary user, but we maintain very different iTunes libraries.
Is it possible for my library file to be the one accessed, even though
she is logged in?
Is it possible to password protect access to the server?
Thanks much in advance for any help or guidance!!
