Re: is this possible? (itunes...)

Since I am not a Mac guy and I don't have iTunes none
of these are of any real concern to me...but number 2
is something I have asked for several times to be
added to the server software in the past and I figured
that I might as well chime in again:)

Wouldn't it be nice to be able to specify multiple
music folders and let the Slimp3 server scan and
combine them all into one big "virtual" music
folder--a Distributed MP3 System (DMS)?  Who's with
me?  Come on speak up!!! 

Right now I get around this by using Windows DFS with
my Linux box and a Windows 2000 server--I have about
8,000 MP3s on each server.  This is OK, but it
requires that I be more vigilant in how I organize the
MP3s on each server--I have it divided alphabetically
right now.  It would be so much nicer if I could just
fill up one disk on one machine, and then specify
another disk on another machine and start filling that
up, and so on....
