I promised to get back with an update on shipping costs for hte new remotes. Unforuntately we simply do not have a cost-effective way to send them. US Postal Service does have cheap rates for sending small padded envelopes, but they *do not apply* if you're shipping goods (as opposed to documents), which have to go through customs. The lowest rate to the UK is $35. Everywhere else is as much as $15 over that. Also we can't automate the shipping because they need a bunch of forms. So we just can't send the individual remotes overseas, except by UPS ($40+). We're still working with USPS to see if they can offer us something that works. The good news is that the new remotes are now in stock (or en route) to all of our resellers, so customers in Europe and Canada can get them cheap. Unfortunately the only way to get them in Asia without getting gouged on shipping would be to find someone else who wants a SLIMP3 and piggy-back on their shipment. Ah, the joys of international commerce.... On Sun, 16 Feb 2003, iamsnoogly <[email protected]> wrote: > Over $40 to ship it to Japan!
