Re: Want new MP3 tag genre

I think I figured it out.  I tried the command-line utility id3v2 
(http://id3v2.sourceforge.net/) and discovered that, indeed, easytag was 
writing my unique genre fields, but was including an integer in parens.  Ex:
(255) Christmas
This seems OK according to what I've seen in the id3v2 spec 
(http://www.id3.org/id3v2.3.0.html#TCON), but the SLIMP3 was always 
showing these as 'OTHER' genres.  Just for grins, I used the id3v2 CLI 
to force a plain old 'Christmas' tag without the '(255)', like so:
id3v2 --TCON Christmas file.mp3
and the genre showed up on the SLIMP3.

I think from here my problems are solved.
