Hi,

The SLIMP3 software doesn't write to any files except its preference  
file and any playlists you might save with the web interface, so it's  
unlikely that it caused the corruption you saw.  We're particularly  
careful in this area because people are very sensitive about unexpected  
file modification, as you can understand.

It may be possible that something went awry during the download or the  
unzipping, but these are things we have no control over.

If you do figure out what happened, I'd be interested in hearing about  
it.
