 Sorry for the delay - I've been really busy doing real paid work!
 

 I did look into making a version of my RAM-1 cartridge with a connector to fit the DX7 II slot, effectively having an ADP-1 built in. To this end I bought an ADP-1 and tried to work out what it did. I re-sold the ADP-1 after I established that cartridges can only be read, not written using an ADP-1. (I also don't have a DX7 II)

 

 I did, however, work out most of the internal connections and made a spreadsheet. I hope this helps:

I just upgraded from 1.1 to 1.3 and am in the process of changing the battery (dead!) and LCD ... the latter is an extreme PITA.  Do not attempt.

Anyone come up with the specifics of the ADP1 internals? I thought that was an interesting question a few posts back...
