Re: DX7s mainboard (DM) reborn attempt

I'm using this thread because I don't see much about the DX7S here or anywhere. I just revived one that had a blown power supply. I tried to fix it, but the transformer was bad and other issues too. I did locate a replacement for a reasonable price and recapped that one (these old Yamaha power supplies look so bad now .. .SPX90's dying all over the place).

Anyway, I updated the OS to 1.3 and replaced the battery. I also bought a ROM cartridge ($$$) and see that it has been dumped into the files section by clem in 2016. I couldn't find the Sys Ex data for it though.  Just the ROM binary dump.

I have never used one of these and it's quite complex compared to the original DX7. But if anyone wants any Sys Ex dumps or whatever I can try that. The ROM cart has a really oddball 128k x 8 mask ROM that would have been a chore to dump. So, clem did a lot of work to get that data.
