Dan,
The situation is not quite as bad as it seems. The file storage, etc.
are disappearing from Yahoo Groups shortly, but according to the message
at the top of each site, "Sending/Receiving email functionality is not
going away, you can continue to communicate via any email client with
your group members." No online posting, and probably no daily digests,
but Yahoo will still act as a bulk forwarding service.
I'm sure that will change, eventually, but as long as this group stays
on Yahoo's list, we should still have a way to contact the group after
the end of the month.
