Did the same with on a DX7 I fixed, and my own TX816.
Got a 10-pack of battery holders for peanuts at Alibaba. The spacing of pi=
ns is a bit larger than the original battery, but the pins are long enough =
to be nicely bent with a pair of pliers.
My DX7 is claiming for a new battey... after 34 years! In the user guide, =
battery life expectation was given 5 years ;-)
