 just the currency conversion charge, built into Paypal's exchange rate... =
I think you can choose to use your card issuers rate instead, but you'll th=
en get two separate things on your statement - one from Paypal and one from=
 your bank / card company.

If you pay in a different currency, there's a charge, which seems quite hi=
gh in proportion to the sort of amounts people will likely donate.

I started by trying to pay in GBP, which added on an unexplained charge, s=
o I tried switching the currency to Euros, which made it disappear.
